Hello, and welcome to the Lincolnshire Gypsy Liaison Group website. The Lincolnshire Gypsy Liaison Group provides a floating support service for Gypsy and Traveller families in Lincolnshire.

Our offices are based in Gainsborough, and we provide a range of support services as well as promote Gypsy culture and our way of life. Our aim is to improve conditions on sites, security of tenure where needed, offer training and increase awareness for all who have professional involment.

The Rights

The rights of Gypsies and Travellers to pursue their way of life is enshrined in national and international legislation. Experience has shown however, that these rights are rarely upheld or supported in practice.

Gypsies and Travellers have the poorest life chances of any ethnic group in the UK and face widespread discrimination.



Provision of suitable accommodation has a vital role to play in supporting the long established way of life of Gypsies and Travellers and enabling them to have a recognised stake in society.
